Credentials India

ICAI / Chartered Accountancy

Countable study, but not a degree.

How It Is Recognised

Passed ICAI papers are recognised as genuine accounting study and do count. What they are not is a degree: if a route requires a conferred degree, ICAI alone will not satisfy it, however many papers you hold.

What We Can Tell You Now

  • The study is overwhelmingly accounting and business, which is usually the area candidates are short in.
  • Only passed papers count. Attempted, exempted and in-progress papers are not completed coursework.
  • ICAI is at its most useful stacked on a degree, the degree answers the degree question, the papers answer the concentration question.

What Only Your Transcript Answers

This is the honest part, and it is also the part people pay us for.

  • How each paper is categorised, which determines whether it helps where you need it.
  • Whether a paper overlaps with degree study you have already been credited for.

Stacking

B.Com plus ICAI is the strongest common combination we see from India.
